so new year's eve was spent at jieming's house with zixuan, marc, weemeng, eugene, aaron, fanghao and of cos jieming himself. was supposed to meet at 7 at whitesands to buy stuff for the steamboat. and since my parents were going to the airport and on the way, i drove the car over with them to zx's hse to pick him up before proceeding to pasir ris.
by the time we got everything settled it was already coming to 8 plus. reached jm's hse slacked ard for a while and started our steamboat dinner at ard 9. after that wanted to go over to downtown east to watch soccer and countdown. but they decided not to in the end. had a few rounds of drinks. absolute vodka mixed with all sorts of drinks; coke, sprite, some mango-orangy gassy drink and jm got absolutely red. so did marc and i. we get red v easily. but they say it's healthy, good blood circulation. anyway, we kind of counted down. cos we all had different timings on our watches and handphones. so we didn't know which one to follow. haha. ended up quite a nonchalant thing. just wished one another happy new year and toasted. i had a couple of drinks that's all. didn't wanna drink too much cos i know i can't hold my liquor well, will end up falling asleep. haha.
left his hse at ard 1 plus with zx to go over to his hse. junwei joined us as well. played some games on his ps till morning before i took a short nap. and i was really tired, so i went home to sleep.
well, it was quite fun overall i guess. even without the countdown and the fireworks. anyway, a very happy new year to all, may 2006 be blessed with all the best! =)
